Our Services
Almost Kin provides a full spectrum of in-home support through our Personal Services Agency (PSA), Home Health Agency (HHA), Structured Family Caregiving (SFC), and additional community-based programs. Our PSA team offers non-medical assistance such as companionship, personal hygiene help, homemaker support, medication reminders, meal preparation, transportation, respite care for family caregivers, and structured family caregiving. For clients needing skilled medical care, our HHA delivers nursing visits, medication setup and administration, wound care, disease and chronic condition management, post-surgical and rehabilitation support, therapy coordination, health assessments, and hospital-to-home transition care. We also offer valuable supplemental programs, including adult day services, caregiver education and support groups, community resource connections, wellness and preventive care checks, and guidance through Veterans, Medicare, and Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS)—all designed to help individuals live safely, confidently, and comfortably at home.

Structured Family Caregiving
Offered Through Almost Kin
What Is Structured Family Caregiving (SFC)?
Structured Family Caregiving is an Indiana Medicaid-funded program that allows eligible individuals to receive care at home from a trusted family member. Through Almost Kin, caregivers receive a tax-free daily stipend while providing consistent, structured support.
Who Qualifies?

Those who need help with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, supervision)
-

How Medicaid Works with SFC
